In-Person Classes:

Voiceover Technique
Grades 3-8 
Description: This class will introduce students to the world of voiceovers. Through warm up techniques, versatility exercises, and script analysis, students will learn how to expand the range and capabilities of their speaking voice. They will learn how to voice their favorite commercials and cartoons and will develop characters of their own. They will also learn the terminology and etiquette of a professional recording studio.
Schedule: Mondays @ 4:00pm-5:00pm

Teen Directing Class
Grades: 9-12
Under the guidance of our teaching staff, students will each get their chance to step into the leadership role of Director, all while performing in their classmates' work. As a class, student's will dive into topics like: script analysis, identifying a character's objectives, power positions and blocking, and what it takes to be an effective communicator/leader before taking the leap and directing their classmates.

TikTok Dance Class 
Grades: 4-8
Description: Students will have the opportunity to learn choreography to some of their favorite trending dances, in-person, and to create new ones of their own to add to our brand new RFKT Tik Tok page! (Students will not need to have their own smartphone or Tik Tok account to participate.)

Random Farms Grab Bag - Stage Combat Added!
Grades: 3-8
A comprehensive theatrical training program in one class. The "grab bag" includes two dance classes, two acting classes, two stage combat classes, and two improv classes over the eight week series. This is a great opportunity to brush up on your skills and try your hand at something new!

Improv
Grades: 5-8
Description: Through a series of improvisational games and exercises, students will learn how to think on their feet, actively listen, and react in the moment while increasing their creativity and confidence as performers.

Virtual Classes:

LION KING VIRTUAL EXPERIENCE
Grades 3-8
Performers will have the opportunity to learn all of the music and choreography, as well as some scene work, from The Lion King KIDS without attending any in-person rehearsals. They will be assigned a different role each week and will be given solo and line features. Each virtual rehearsal will be 90 minutes long. While there will be no formal production at the end of our virtual program, we will invite each participant to submit a video of themselves performing their favorite Lion King musical number.  The program will culminate in a Zoom gathering for performers and their families with live scene work presentations and a viewing of the videos.

Virtual Group Voice 
Grades: 3-6

Utilizing natural vocal development and musical curiosities, Group Voice offers students holistic vocal and musical theatre training. In addition to carefully curated vocalises and repertoire selections, singers will learn basic voice science, musical theatre history, stage etiquette, and improvisation techniques. This integration of knowledge allows singers to have ownership of their developing instruments in an exciting, student-centered environment. Weekly performance opportunities will be presented.

Virtual Disney Dance 
Grades: K-4
Each class we will warm up, stretch, and explore a new show/movie by learning choreography inspired by some of our favorite Disney movies and Broadway productions. Show/movie titles will include: Frozen, Aladdin, Zombies, The Descendants, Little Mermaid, Camp Rock, Lion King, and more!

COVID-19 SAFETY MEASURES FOR IN-PERSON CLASSES
All participants are required to bring a mask every day. Masks will be worn while indoors.

If a child falls ill, we ask parents to inform staff and share their child's symptoms. If a child presents with symptoms that may be COVID-19, we will inform the families in that child's class that a child has presented with possible symptoms. We may also suspend the session or move to virtual classes until the symptomatic child has been tested.

PARTICIPATION POLICY
There is no absence policy for these classes, but we encourage students to attend as many classes as they can. They are not recital-based, but more like workshops where you get out of it what you put in!  If you know your child is going to be absent from a class, please notify the directorPlease note that there are no refunds/credits.

REFUND POLICY
Register with peace of mind! Program credits and refunds will be available for the full value of the in-person class tuition if Random Farms is unable to run said in-person class.
